The Forgotten Part 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Forgotten Part 10
Two of the team members found out the address to Hank Tarpin’s ‘house’, so they went over to check it out because he was a potential suspect to the murder of the Baldwins and Ernesto. Once they got out of the air conditioned car the smell hit them like a bullet, they almost fell over and puked on the spot, but they held themselves together enough to go into the shack and find a dead Hank Tarpin laying on the floor. One of them just couldn’t hold it any longer and went out and puked his guts out, he then stayed out of the shack. When Decker had arrived at the scene photos had already been taken and they were about ready to take the body out to have an autopsy done on it.
Visualization-
-I could visualize (unfortunately) one of team members puking outside of the shack on the ground. I could also see the scene becoming very crowded as the professionals went about their jobs with face masks on their faces. I’m glad that I didn’t have to be there.

The Forgotten Part 9!!!!!!!

During that conversation, Mr. Golding asked Rina if she would help him figure out more about his father. She said yes but Decker was weary because anybody who was involved with the Goldings was potentially being put in a life threatening position (not purposefully of course). After that Decker (hypocritically) asked Rina to help one of his detectives with some background information on the case, so she took him to a museum type building where they have a lot of historical records. They were met by an old lady who worked there. Rina asked her if she would help them find out some information that may help them in the long run. Meanwhile Decker went over to the Goldings house to search Ernesto’s room to find something that may help the case. He almost gave up but he decided to check the closet, he found nothing until he got to his dresser. He noticed that there was about a six inch difference in how far it opened, so he forced it open and found a locked box. He brought it to Mr. Golding so that he could decode it and found Jewish death camp photos...
Prediction-
-I think that there may be photos that are linked to the Goldings and their family.

The Forgotten Part 8!!!!!!!!

At the end of the meeting they weren’t able to decode the abbreviations. After that Decker went to the autopsy room to check out Mrs. Dr. Baldwin, he found nothing out of the ordinary that would give them a hint as to who the murderer was, so he went on about his day. The next day Mr. Golding came to his house at 5 in the morning to talk about his father’s heritage (that is what may have lead Ernesto to vandalizing the synagogue)...

Prediction-
-I think that they will find something that may help them in the ongoing investigation, it may also relieve some of Mr. Golding’s anxiety.

The Forgotten Part 7!!!!!

Once they got back from the office they went to the police station to conference with the rest of the team. during that conference they discussed what the abbreviations might mean. They said that it might mean colleges and such, but after trying so hard they couldn't figure it out, meanwhile someone out there was planning on murdering Hank Tarpin (Mr. Dr. Baldwins camp activities directer)...

I could visualize this because the author was very descriptive. Unfortunately although I have gone to California, it wasn't hot and muggy so I am not one to say exactly what it might look and feel like.

The Forgotten Part 6!!!

After Jacob's brother left to go back to school Decker went right back to work. This time his team went to work in the Baldwin's office, unfortunately they didn't have a warrant to search and it is illegal to search the files because of confidentiality issues. Fortunately for the team the assistant at the office had to take a call in the other room so they were left alone in the file room together. While alone they started rummaging through the file room. They found Ernesto's file, also they found a notebook with a lot of abbreviations that they couldn't figure out.

The Forgotten Part 5!!

After they searched the mountain and came up with nothing Decker went back to his house as his wife was picking up their son from the airport. There son had been away as a foraine exchange student and has just come back to visit for a little while. Once he got home Decker and Jacob were there to greet him. Jacob and their other son were very close so when he got home he went straight to Jacob, they spent almost the whole day together.

Relate to my life-
-This relates to my life because, my brother has just recently went off to college and even though he is still in Maine he is never around. So when he visits it is a rare moment and it is fun.

The Forgotten Part 4

I was really surprised that they found nothing on the mountain and in the surrounding areas that may lead them to a potential murderer. For example on the mountains trails leading up to the campsite there were many tire tracks but all of them matched the tires of the cars in the lot. Also there was some bullets found in the tent where they were murdered but no gun anywhere.
This leads me to believe that the murder was very well thought out and the murderer was very well trained or he/she was very cautious. Also if I was the investigative team I would not have done anything different.
